Come and Visit

Anyone wishing to visit and say Hi to Maria Del Rosario Viljezz (Torres), the
foreign exchange student of Lowell & LaVaye's in (1970) is welcome to
stop in for cookies and coffee (anytime of the day) at the Dubro home.
She is from Managura Nicaragua in Central America and will be spending next week (September 22nd) with the family.

The Waldner Messengers

Yesterday was a great day at Immanuel! The church was full with members and guests to hear The Waldner Messengers sing their praises. They are such a talented family. If you were not able to join us you can go to their website and hear some sample songs.

WELCA Fall Retreat

The WELCA Fall Retreat will be held on September 16 in Badger SD at the Legion Hall.  

Time: 9:00 - 3:45.  Cost: $7.00

First Day of Sunday School

Today was our first day of Sunday School!! After welcoming each other back we grooved to some of our VBS songs from this summer. So much fun to hear them singing praises!! Throughout the year we will be traveling down Route 66 (66 chapters of the bible). We even have a map to follow...kids are pretty excited about that! Anyone is welcome to join us on our adventure at any time...young or old! Can't wait to see where our adventure takes us together.

Next Sunday, do to the special service we will not be having Sunday School, but still hope that everyone will be able to join us at the 11:00 service. The Waldner family will be doing our service for us and a potluck will follow.

Please continue to pray for those who are grieving loved ones. Especially, Dale Kopplin & Donna Koziolek after the loss of Beverly and Angel Dubro and Gayle Larson after the loss of their fathers.

Potluck following Special Service

On September 14, there will be a potluck following the 11 am worship service led by the Waldner Gospel group.  Work group responsibilities are listed below for the potluck.

Group 1: serve

Group 2: clean-up

Group 3: set up tables & chairs

Group 4: prepare - coffee/lemonade
