Announcements February 4th

A communion class will be offered on February 7th at Immanuel from 5-8 pm. This class will teach the basics of Holy Communion from a Lutheran perspective. This is not a requirement for youth who would like to receive communion in our parish but is encouraged for those who have reached an age where such learning would be appropriate and helpful. All are welcome to attend. Please let Pastor Josh know if you or your child will be there so he can adequately prepare. 

There will be supper following the Saturday night service on February 10th. Sandwiches, cake and drinks will be provided, but please bring something to pass. Sunday School will be at 5:00 with church at 6:00 (there will be communion) and supper to follow. 

Immanuel Text Notification - It was discussed at the annual meeting that it would be nice to add a text group along with our emails so in case you do not see cancellations, etc. on your email you would probably see it on your cellphone. If you were not in church and already wrote your cell number down will you please send Jodi an email at immanuelenews@gmail.com with your cell numbers.

For those interested in helping lead Holden Evening Prayer during the Lenten services, please come to Trinity (downstairs) at 4pm, Sunday, Feb. 11th. We will run through the leader parts and set up additional practice times. Our first service will be on Wednesday, Feb. 21st at Immanuel.
