Pictures from VBS last week
If you were not able to join us for our Vacation Bible School program on Friday night, you missed out on a very fun program! The kids did a great job with their parts, songs and actions! We would also like to thank everyone that was able to volunteer whether donating time, supplies or money...it would not be a success without all of your generosity! THANK YOU!!
Weird animals was the name of our bible school program this year. We had lots of fun each day talking about how God not only made beautiful animals but also how God made each one of us special and beautiful too!
The offering collected during bible school and at the program is being donated to Lisa Johnson, Lori Peskey's aunt. Lisa had been having some health problems beginning in April. What doctors initially thought was a double ear and sinus infection has actually turned out to be Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease. CJD is a very rare and fatal brain disorder. A hospital stay in Sioux Falls led to a trip to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for a full diagnosis. There is no cure or treatment for CJD, so the days ahead will be spent making sure she’s as comfortable as possible as the disease runs its course. Lisa is currently at home outside of Huron in Hospice care. If you were not at the program, but would still like to make a donation you can do so online at http://www.gofundme.com/love4lisa

VBS Program Tonight ~ Everyone Welcome
Reminder ~ The VBS program is tonight at 7:30 pm. All of the kids have been working so hard preparing songs for tonight and would love to see you all there!! There will be fellowship afterwards with cookies/bars in
the basement provided by all of the VBS families! The roofing crew has also been busy replacing the shingles on the church the last couple of days. Therefore, you might want to park in the grass rather than right along the church, just in case they do not have everything picked up by tonight. Hope to see you all tonight at 7:30 pm!!

Care Package for Jason Bell and VBS Program
WELCA would like to invite everyone to place care package items for Jason Bell, husband of Shalace (Larson) Bell in the box that is in the back of the church. Jason is stationed in Afghanistan and will be deployed until December. We want to send him a package to tell him THANK YOU for his service and to let him know that our church family is keeping him in our prayers.

Her doctor recommended that she go to her parents, in Lincoln, NE, for a couple of weeks to rest and recooperate and to not do therapy. Rick will be taking her down there, but will not be able to stay because of his job.
Please send prayers. Get well wishes & cards can also be sent to her parents address:
