VBS Program - June 5th at 9:00 am

Immanuel VBS program will be held during the church service on June 5th at 9:00 am. ** Note the change in time of the service **  Fellowship will follow the program with coffee, juice, donuts, rolls, etc. Make plans to attend...the kids work so hard to learn the songs and have so much fun showing everyone what they do at VBS!!!

May 22nd Parish Announcements

Immanuel is collecting items for a care package to be sent to Jason TeBeest, Lowell & LaVaye Dubro's grandson, who is serving overseas. There will be boxes in the back of the church you may place items in. Some ideas for items are packets of crystal light/kool aid/tea that you add to water, pop tarts, gum, jerky, crossword puzzles, Sudoku puzzles, microwave popcorn, snack foods, etc. Please be sure it is nothing that will melt or is perishable. Thanks in advance for your donation. Jason will also share with his fellow soldiers.

John Anderson will be conducting services next Sunday, May 29th. There will be no communion.

Trinity VBS is June 6-8 from 9-2.

Pastor Knudsen Accepted Our Call

Immanuel's quarterly meeting will be held after the 9:30 service, on May 8th.

Pastor Josh Knudsen has accepted our call!

Here are a few details:
May 5^th – Baby Knudsen is scheduled to arrive
May 15^th – Josh graduates from seminary
 May 26^th – Josh will be ordained at South Canyon Lutheran Church in Rapid City (his home church) at 6:30 pm.
May 31^st – They would like this to be the day they move to SD.

June 3-4 – Josh will be attending the SD Synod Assembly in Watertown (official start date)June 5-12 – transition
June 13-14 – vacation days
June 15^th – start full pastoral duties
June 19^th – First Sunday service with Josh as our pastor

Pastor Knudsen has asked that we keep him and his family in our prayers during this process.  They have a busy couple of months ahead of them.

REMINDER:  There will be voting on whether or not to call Josh Knudsen as our pastor after services tomorrow, April 17th.

Parish Announcements for Sunday, April 3

Thank you to everyone who made Josh Knudsen and his family feel so welcome during their visit. We are in the final phases of working to have everything in place to officially extend a call to Josh. Each congregation will be holding a special meeting immediately following services on Sunday, April 17th. The purpose of this meeting will be to vote on calling Josh to serve our parish. There is a possibility that Josh will be leadin services on the 17th as well. Thank you to everyone for your continued patience and understanding during this time of not having a full-time pastor.

The Medary Women of ELCA Spring Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 16th at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church at Bryant. It will begin at 9:00 am with a cost of $12 for the entire day. There will also be a silent auction with the proceeds going to the Joy Ranch Campership Fund. Attend for a great day of inspiration and fellowship. Janet Peskey is planning to attend so if you would like to ride with her please get in contact with her as soon as possible.
