An article that I saw tonight and wanted to share with everyone!

Dear Parents with Young Children in Church

I thought the article was a great reminder for all of us with young children to remember that what we are doing is really, really important! I definitely have my rough mornings with my children in church some Sundays, but luckily I am surrounded by fellow members (young and old) who are happy to see children growing their faith in our church.

Don't forget we have Bible School this week, Wednesday - Friday from 10:00 to 2:00 and you are all welcome to stop in and see the excitement in the children's eyes as they grow their faith even more! It might be a little crazy at times, but we will all be having a great time together! Also, please join us for our program on Sunday, June 2nd at 9:30. The children are always so excited to show everyone what they learned and sing fun songs! We will also be having cookies and bars downstairs following the program. Hope you can all join us!

WELCA meeting & May Newsletter

Just a Reminder ~ May 12, following the 9:30 am service, Immanuel WELCA will meet for a brief meeting.  We will be discussing fundraising for the Cameroon roof project.  This will also be an opportunity to turn in your 2013 WELCA dues if you have not already done so.

Pictorial Books, WELCA & April Newsletter

Anyone interested in purchasing additional church pictorial books for their family or friends may do so by contacting LaVaye Dubro by April 26th. You will need to pay $12.50 per book when you place your order. If you had your picture taken for the book you will receive one pictorial book for free.

The Medary Conference Spring Gathering is April 20th at First Lutheran Chruch in Volga. 

 

9:00 am ~ Registration & Coffee

9:30 am ~ Welcome, Bible Study led by Pastor Laura Overbo and Guest Speaker Pastor Nyla Schoeld

12:00 pm ~ Lunch

1:00 pm Hymn Sing, Installation of Officers and Worship with Communion

3:00 pm ~ Coffee

 

There will be a Silent Auction with proceeds going to St Dysmas.  If you would like to take an item for the auction, it would be much appreciated.

 

Cost: $10.00 - include lunch

No Confirmation Tonight - April 10th!

There will be no confirmation tonight, April 10th. Next week, we will meet at Immanuel.

Council Scheduled for Tonight is Postponed!

Immanuel Council meeting that was scheduled for this evening is postponed until next Tuesday, April 16th at 8:00 pm due to inclement weather!

No Church Tonight - 3/20/13

There will be no church service tonight as LeShea is feeling under the weather. The next church service will be this Saturday at 6:00 pm with Sunday School at 5:00.
