Immanuel’s Annual Meeting will be held this Sunday following the 11:00 am service. There will not be a potluck because of basement furnace getting replaced.

Announcements for January 9, 2022
Please keep the Zeeck family in your prayers. Doug's cousin's husband, Doug Canode passed away last night due to brain cancer. Also, Mona's uncle Duane Schley passed away last night due to complications from COVID.
Please keep Mike Metter and his family in your prayers as his cancer has returned.
Please keep Pastor Josh's family in your prayers as his uncle (his dad's brother) passed away suddenly yesterday.
Please turn in your $20 WELCA dues donation to Donna Dickson for your yearly dues. Also, for each funeral that you were not asked to make bars, etc. please give her $5 for each funeral to help cover expenses.
The youth who will be attending the ELCA Youth Gathering this summer will be hosting suppers after the Saturday night services. Freewill offerings will be taken to help cover youth gathering expenses. They are planning a soup supper for the first Saturday night service on January 22nd.

Church Service Schedule for the Week
Immanuel Christmas Eve Program will be held at 6:30 pm Christmas Eve night.
A unity service will be held at 9:30 am in Carthage on Sunday. Therefore there will be no service at Immanuel on Sunday.

Keep Carl Matter's Family in Your Prayers
Please keep Carl Matter's family in your prayers. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, at his home.
His funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, December 13th, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Iroquois. Burial to follow in the church’s cemetery with military honors by the Bensley-Rounds Post #280 Iroquois American Legion.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, Sunday, December 12, at the Kuhler Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 4:00 PM Sunday afternoon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Iroquois or the Bensley-Rounds Post #280 Iroquois American Legion.
