Angel Tree Gifts & Announcements

On Friday, Sunday School children and their parents from Immanuel Lutheran, rural Iroquois, purchased items for kids on the Salvation Army Angel Tree. The Sunday School children asked the congregation for donations and since they were so generous, they were each able to adopt an angel that was their age and purchase a gift for them. The kids had so much fun picking out presents and learned how important giving to others was! After shopping, they enjoyed supper together and then went caroling at StoneyBrook Suites Assisted Living and to a couple of our elderly church members’ houses. This morning, they got to show & tell the congregation what they purchased for their angel before delivering the presents. They cannot wait until next year to do it again. THANK YOU FOR DONATING!!!!
