Announcements for July 2, 2017

Muffin Mornings continues every Saturday at the parsonage from 9:00-10:30 am! We are working our way through the Fruits of the Spirit. It has been a wonderful couple weeks growing and learning together. If you've missed a few or can't make all of them, don't feel bad showing up for what you can. It's a beautiful time of fellowship and conversation! Bring your bibles and join us! Due to Straw Bale Days conflicts with one of our Muffin Mornings, so our last Muffin Morning will be held July 29th, not August 5th.

Immanuel Quarterly meeting is scheduled for July 30th.

Please keep the family of Ronald Wipf (David Moeding's father-in-law) in your prayers. He passed away suddenly last week while visiting his daughter in Africa.

Prayer for Rain....
God of life, all good gifts come from you: the breath of life that creates us, the fellow creatures that accompany us, the saving waters that renew and refresh us.
We look to you in our time of need. Give to the earth the water of life, water to bring forth food for your creatures. Send us rain to heal the earth and to cleanse its face, water to quench your thirsty land. Let faith be born from our doubts, hope from our despair, compassion from our troubles. Let the rains come, so we may know once more your care for creatures. Then we will bless your great name and declare your faithful love. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen
