LeShea will be celebrating her birthday tomorrow!!

Armand Peskey will be celebrating his 95th birthday on Tuesday, the 23rd. He is still in the hospital, but please send birthday cards to his home for a card shower.   Armand Peskey ~ 21804 413 Ave ~ Iroquois, SD 57353

Immanuel Quarterly meeting will be held following the 9:30 service on November 4th.

LYO will be held October 28th from 2-4 pm at Immanuel. All youth from 7th-12th grades are welcome. Those in confirmation can receive points for participation in youth group.

Sunday School kids wanted to share the "Pumpkin Prayer" that they learned this morning! After learning about the prayer they made rice krispy treat pumpkins with a snicker hidden inside and a tootsie roll stem. Below are pictures of a few of the kids with their pumpkin treats!!

Dear God,
As I carve my pumpkin help me say this prayer:

Open my mind so I can learn about You; Psalm 100:3

 (Cut the top of the pumpkin)

Take away all my sin and forgive me for the wrong things I do. 1 John 1:9

(Clean out the inside)

Open my eyes so Your love I will see; Psalm 119:18

(Cut the eyes out in heart shapes)

I'm so sorry for turning up my nose to all you've given me. Psalm 86:5

(Cut a nose in the shape of a cross)

Open my ears so your word I will hear. Proverbs 18:15

(Cut the ears shaped like the Bible)

Open my mouth so I can tell others You're near. Psalm 118:17

(cut the mouth in the shape of a fish)
